Planning Minister Hala el Saeed asserted Egypt’s desire to deepen ties with Azerbaijan via cooperation in the field of mechanizing government services and benefiting from the Azerbaijani expertise in this domain.
This came during Saeed’s meeting with Azerbaijani Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations Inam Karimov on the sidelines of the 6th round of the World Government Summit held in Dubai.
In a press statement released by the ministry on Monday, Saeed highlighted the different official electronic services presented to the Egyptian citizens such as the notary public services and in the issuance of construction, demolition and traffic permits.
During the meeting, Saeed invited Karimov to visit Egypt.
Karimov reviewed the 250 electronic services presented to the private and public sectors in Azerbaijan.
He said that he is looking forward to furthering cooperation between both countries especially in the field of mechanizing and developing government services. (MENA)
