MP Abdel Rahim Ali, head of the Center for Middle East Studies in Paris, and the chairman and editor of the “Al-Bawaba News” said that the first cells of the Brotherhood reached Europe in the fifties and sixties of the last century, after their famous clash with former Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser. Where West Germany embraced them as the first stop in Europe in retaliation for Nasser’s recognition of the East German Republic.
Ali stressed that they were very few at that time. As well as, they were have nothing at all, even the houses of worship which they substituted them by rooms inside the homes of some of them. Now, they are representing a very important part in the German society.
The president of the Center for Middle East Studies in Paris added that this is what happened also in France, England, Austria, Belgium and the rest of the European Union now.
Did the Brotherhood exploit the West’s sympathy only to reach what they reached? Did they follow a predetermined and proven plan in the countries of origin, and a consistent strategy drawn up by the founder guide Hassan Al-Banna, when he explained the Brotherhood’s course and goal in six stages?
This came during a lecture to MP Abdel Rahim Ali, head of the Center for Middle East Studies in Paris, and the Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of the “Al-Bawaba News”, on Tuesday, in front of the European Parliament in the city of Strasbourg. In which he spoke about the danger of the Brotherhood’s spread in Europe and the dangers of financing terrorism.
The hosting of the European Parliament to Abdul Rahim Ali is considered a victory over all the pressures of Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood, which sought to prevent this meeting to take place. As they were afraid of revealing more secrets about the activities of Qatar and the International organisation of Muslim Brotherhood in Europe.
