President of the Free Egyptians Party Essam Khalil stressed that Egyptians do not accept anyone’s interference in the domestic affairs of their country.
During a press conference, Khalil accused some foreign newspapers and human rights groups of lack of professionalism while reporting on Egypt.
He slammed the use of terms such as enforced disappearance in such foreign reports, explaining that later on the people mentioned in these reports are found to be members of terrorist groups.
He warned that foreign newspapers and human rights groups spread false news on Egypt and the upcoming presidential election, scheduled later this month.
The foreign reports claim that presidential hopefuls have been eliminated from the presidential election before the start of the election process, he said, adding that this matter is completely untrue.
Khalil explained that the presidential hopefuls should be first approved by the National Election Authority before being allowed to run for the president. (MENA)
